The Green Man Six Mile Bottom... For the Best Steaks

Here at The Green Man our aim is to offer a friendly and relaxed atmosphere which is welcoming to everyone. We have found that there is a demand for good quality British steaks and have worked hard to produce a menu designed to appeal to all, from the delicate 8oz fillet to the gut busting 36oz rump, there are 14 steaks to choose from 5 different cuts. We have tried to avoid having an endless list of the usual 'pub grub' and where possible we use fresh, locally sourced produce.

 

For the truly dedicated meat lover, there's a 72oz rump steak challenge, which is not for the faint hearted, as the colossal meal must be eaten within an hour. Victors claim their hefty feast for free, whilst losers must stump up £60 for a doggy bag.

Children under 12 are welcome in The Green Man for all lunchtimes and evenings, apart from Friday and Saturday evenings. We only have adult menu on these nights and also have sizzle plates in the restaurant. When the weather improves in the evenings children are welcome in the patio area.
